Parent Workshops

Overview

The Leadership Program offers a series of workshops for parents to help create partnerships with schools and empower them with the necessary tools to contribute to the education and lives of our students.

Content

A student's success in school is influenced by the efforts of stakeholders in their lives - significantly by their parents. Parents face multiple challenges in teaching their children about values, how to deal with their emotions, and making healthy choices, in addition to supporting their academic learning. In order to better prepare parents and guardians for helping their children's physical, emotional and academic growth, we offer a variety of workshops in the following content areas:

• Parents and their children
• Parent administrators and PTA members
• Academic development
• Health nutrition
• Special education
