Overview

Inspired and informed educators and administrators are a key component to providing young people with the high quality education they deserve. Our structured workshops inform, train, challenge and inspire educators and administrators to better serve their students and create a safe and productive learning environment.

Content

All of our workshops explore relevant educational issues through lectures, interactive exercises, site-visits, and hands-on learning. Participants return to school informed and invigorated with valuable resources, strategies and materials to share with students and colleagues.

In our Leadership Workshops (1) , educators learn strategies that enable them to work together more effectively and provide their students with the skills necessary to develop and use their leadership abilities. Our Arts & Culture Workshops (2) train educators to utilize the rich resources of this diverse city for focused, educational field trips, cultivate creative expression among faculty and students and offer techniques to build a cooperative classroom environment that promotes high academic achievement.

1. Leadership Workshops include:
Classroom Management, Leadership in the School, Bullying Prevention, Coping with Change, Stress Management, Creating Kind & Caring Classrooms, Effective Communication and Conflict Management, among others.

2. Arts & Culture Workshops include:
Diversity & Multi-Culturalism, Aeronautics & Kite-Making, Jewelry-Making from the African Diaspora, Book-Making, Poetry, and more.
