School Culture Project
Overview
In our comprehensive School Culture Projects, Leadership trainers immerse themselves in the learning environment with programming that engages students in-class, during lunchtime and after-school. Our staff partners, with the school's administration in a unified effort to help create a positive school culture that will reach its highest potential.
Content
Our School Culture Project trainers are among The Leadership Program's most experienced youth development staff. They understand how to connect with students and, importantly, how to coordinate with school administrators to implement a successful program.The School Culture Project can provide schools with the following student, teacher, staff and parent services:
- In-class facilitation of The Leadership Program curriculum
- After school activities based on a survey of student needs
- Peer mentoring groups
- Specialized lunchtime roundtables and activities that include games, academic support, and arts
- Support of student leadership groups
- Staff development workshops
- Staff and student retreats
- PTA support, including recruitment, fundraising and consulting
- Parent workshops addressing the needs of children
- College prep
- Assistance to the school Coordinator of Student Services on student-centered activities
